After graduating from Harvard Law School in 1977, Roger became a trial lawyer handling class action cases. He served as a federal prosecutor for white collar crime for six years. His law practice includes commercial disputes, trademark protection matters, and employment-related cases and counseling. He also takes on civil rights cases, most recently as co-counsel for Mexican demonstrators in a successful case against Donald Trump for unlawful interference with a demonstration in front of Trump Tower. He has served as a board member for a non-profit organization and for two real estate cooperatives.
He is an amateur cellist with four summers of orchestral playing at Interlochen (then National Music Camp) and many years of home chamber music since then. He had the good fortune to take lessons from Sophie Feuerman, sister of celebrated cellist Emanual Feuermann.
