Through El Sistema USA’s partnership with Conn Selmer, Inc members can purchase Conn-Selmer string and band instruments at a special El Sistema USA Partnership price through their local school music dealer.
Members will also be granted free access to Allegro by Cut Time, Conn Selmer’s cloud-based Instrument Inventory Management system software, a solution used by thousands of schools and districts around the country, as well as MusicProfessor.Com.
This investment by Conn Selmer, Inc. and their Division of Education is coupled with great excitement for the El Sistema movement in the U.S.
MANHATTAN SCHOOL OF MUSIC
Manhattan School of Music (MSM) and El Sistema USA® (ESUSA) are proud to announce the establishment of the El Sistema USA® Scholarship at Manhattan School of Music, beginning with the 2026–27 academic year. This initiative will provide an up-to-full tuition Bachelor’s scholarship for students from ESUSA full member organizations in the United States and Canada.
Eligible applicants must be active participants in an ESUSA full member organization for at least one full year prior to applying. The scholarship recipient will be selected through MSM’s regular admission and audition process, with consideration given to musical excellence, academic achievement, community engagement, and demonstrated financial need.
Applications are open now, with a December 1 priority deadline.
Noteflight
El Sistema USA is excited to announce that we have partnered with Noteflight to provide a Noteflight Learn site for El Sistema USA members to create and share music in a private online community.
All El Sistema USA Member Organizations are given one login to Noteflight as part of their membership which gives them access to a full-featured music notation editor, in collaboration with other El Sistema USA members, where you can easily share and copy music.
