My name is Zanadia and I am a 10th grader as well as a violinist with Kidznotes. I have been with Kidznotes for a period of almost 11 years now. I also have been an ensemble leader which has enabled me to assist my classmates during practice as well as educate younger musicians. It is thanks to Kidznotes that I have been studying at the Duke University String School since I was 8 and this has put me through lots of opportunities to learn, grow and perform.  I have been playing violin for almost 11 years now. I have played at weddings, restaurants, and large events and have been part of a quartet for five years now. I have also done solo recitals and I am currently working on a community project sponsored by Kidznotes in which students are able to share their voices and their gift of music through music.  Music has played a huge role in my life and I have developed a keen interest in neuro-sciences and more specifically the way music plays a part in our brain and in the process of learning. As I continue my education, I hope to integrate my passion for music and my passion for studying about the brain together. I hope that the ESUSA Youth Ambassador program would give me an opportunity to inspire other people to connect with others and develop themselves through music.
