This workshop will explore how to create engaging, effective, and creative teaching activities integrating musical and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). Sistema Toronto’s “Social Curriculum” activities proved to be a powerful tool in our transition to online learning, offering social and emotional support to our teachers and students, helping them gain comfort with new software tools for online learning, and efficiently disseminating teaching methods and curriculum ideas among our staff. This workshop will explore the format, structure, and key elements of these activities, by working through the activity creation process as a group.
