“Philadelphia Music Alliance for Youth” Helen Eaton

This presentation was led by Helen Eaton, CEO of Settlement Music School. The Philadelphia Music Alliance for Youth (PMAY) began in 2012 as a consortium of music educators in Philadelphia, and has grown to produce research on collective impact around the country. The panel discussed this research, along with PMAY’s joint project to develop shared professional development resources among all teachers in Philadelphia and a new initiative to support students from under-represented communities.
