Instructions to Access Arrangements of “Hear Our Song” from The Canales Project

El Sistema USA is thrilled to partner with The Canales Project to provide El Sistema USA Member Organizations arrangements of “Hear Our Song”, the theme song of The Canales Project’s Hear Her Song initiative, composed by Katy Pfaffl arranged specifically for El Sistema-inspired programs by Joshua Cerdenia.

Hear Her Song is a musical celebration of women leaders with new songs inspired by their words. Since its inception in 2017, the initiative has commissioned forty songs from leading songwriters and composers worldwide, with honorees including Hillary Clinton, Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Malala Yousafzai and composers including Emily Estefan, Shaina Taub and Georgia Stitt.

The Canales Project and El Sistema USA have worked to deliver arrangements that fit for a variety of ensembles. 

Each of the arrangements below are available in “Beginner / Intermediate” as well as “Intermediate / Advanced”:

• Arrangement for chorus (Soprano 1, Soprano II, Alto)

• Arrangement for strings (Violin 1, Violin 2, Cello, Double Bass)

• Arrangement for wind and brass

• Full arrangement for chorus, strings, wind and brass
