About the session:
Experience how two Detroit arts organizations are reinforcing positive cultural identities in their students through collaborations with local artists. Directors of Urban Stringz and Detroit Youth Volume will share their methods, victories and challenges of expanding a community that cares. The audience will be guided through a group brainstorming session, and walk away with tangible ways that their programs can be more community-aligned and community-reliant now, and in the future.
