Mary is a violinist, baker, and high school senior at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. She began playing the violin through the Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles when she was eight years old and has grown to become the symphony concertmistress. Aside from playing the Violin, Mary advocates for musicians’ mental health and wellness through her project Classically Imperfect, an organization dedicated to providing resources such as articles, interviews, and hotlines to make the conversation around mental health and wellness more common in the classical music community. Through Classically Imperfect, she has had the opportunity to reach many communities including YOLA and The LA Phil, and has many exciting workshops at Libraries across Los Angeles in 2024. Outside the music field, Mary enjoys spending time with her three cats Patches, Reina, and Chiquita, and loves baking for her family in her free time, who never turn down her sweets.
