Ashley (she/her) is a 9th grade student at the Baltimore School for the Arts and has played the flute through the Baltimore Symphony OrchKids program for the past six years. A winner of the OrchKids Marin Alsop Citizenship award, she has consistently demonstrated her dedication to her musical studies as well as leadership among her peers. Her passion for flute playing has given her the opportunity to attend the Interlochen and Ithaca College summer programs and the El Sistema residency at the King School in Connecticut. She has also had the chance to perform in front of Marin Alsop and aspires to someday be a professional musician in the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.
