MANHATTAN SCHOOL OF MUSIC
Manhattan School of Music (MSM) and El Sistema USA® (ESUSA) are proud to announce the establishment of the El Sistema USA® Scholarship at Manhattan School of Music, beginning with the 2026–27 academic year. This initiative will provide an up-to-full tuition Bachelor’s scholarship for students from ESUSA full member organizations in the United States and Canada.
Eligible applicants must be active participants in an ESUSA full member organization for at least one full year prior to applying. The scholarship recipient will be selected through MSM’s regular admission and audition process, with consideration given to musical excellence, academic achievement, community engagement, and demonstrated financial need.
Applications are now open, with a priority deadline of December 1.
The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University
The Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University is proud to collaborate with El Sistema USA to offer up to two full cost of attendance fellowships to the Peabody Conservatory each application cycle.
The Bachelor of Music program at Peabody is designed to offer gifted students the training to prepare themselves for careers in classical performance, jazz, hip-hop, composition, music technology, music education, and related areas of professional activity. All students of the Conservatory take required professional development courses with the Breakthrough Curriculum, administered by the career services office, Launchpad.
El Sistema Fellowship recipients are guaranteed a financial aid package covering the full cost of attendance for the duration of their program.
Applications are now open, with an Early Decision deadline of November 1, 2026, and a Regular Decision deadline of December 1, 2026.

Join us on Tuesday, October 6, from 7–8 PM ET / 4–5 PM PT to meet the admissions teams from each partner conservatory: Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University and Manhattan School of Music. Each school will share what they offer students from El Sistema USA member programs, walk through eligibility and how to apply, and answer your questions directly. Students, families, and program leaders are all warmly invited.
