Organization Description

The Inner City Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles is a not-for-profit organization that exists to transform the lives and minds of young people in Inner City Los Angeles through high quality music education. It seeks to expose inner city youth to the great music of the world and to provide opportunities for youth to perform music in the greatest settings and on the most magnificent stages of the world. It aspires to prepare its members for advanced study– musical and otherwise– and high caliber success. It is open to all young people from ages 10-25 with a basic level of competence on orchestral instruments.
